San Nicolás delivers 70 new patrol cars; number more than 200

San Nicolás de los Garza, NL.- To reinforce security in the neighborhoods and provide families with greater peace of mind, the Mayor of San Nicolás, Daniel Carrillo Martínez, delivered this morning 70 new units to the Municipal Security Secretariat, for their different preventive, operational, investigative and motorized police forces.

On the esplanade of the new building of the corporation called Ciudad Seguridad, the municipality gave the starting signal to the new units made up of 20 Onix vehicles, 25 pick-ups, 10 Dodge Durango and 15 motorcycles, with which the corporation totals 200 units in total for your surveillance and security tasks.

“Today we are investing in each and every one of the security units with which we build the tranquility of the residents of San Nicolás… this helps us to move and arrive much sooner to any call for help made by the neighbors” , assured the Nicolaitan municipe.

Carrillo Martínez, highlighted that the inclusion of the units, where just over $60 million were invested, is part of the administration’s efforts to improve security conditions and safeguard the lives of all citizens, which have been reflected in the results of the National Survey of Urban Public Security (ENSU), which points it out as one of the best police corporations in Mexico.

The Secretary of Security, José Doria Mata, assured that the new surveillance units are necessary to be able to cover each area of ​​the city, at the same time that he invited all the elements to take care of them.

In addition, recognizing the work of the police forces and the need for equipment, the Mayor of San Nicolás recalled that the SN police maintain an open recruitment campaign with salaries starting at $20,000, for which he invited those interested to approach the new facilities in Av. López Mateos.
