SAN MARINO (ITALPRESS) – The Executive Committee has approved the issue of a new call for tenders for the permanent recruitment of 4 medical profiles for the Primary Care and Territorial Medicine Operating Unit of the Social Security Institute of the Republic of San Marino.
The tender adds to the expansion already underway in the emergency-urgency services area of the Emergency Room, which will soon see the entry of two new doctors. Furthermore, two calls for selection are underway for the completion of the workforce of the UOC Orthopedics and the UOC Pediatrics which, together with the health and administrative operators, will contribute to following up on the overall reorganization of the ISS, already presented, in part, by the Secretary of State for Health Mariella Mularoni.
The announcement will be viewable and downloadable in the next few days on the ISS website (www.iss.sm) in the appropriate section.
“The international tender for the acquisition of new family doctors – says the director general of the ISS, Francesco Bevere – is part of a broader plan drawn up by the Secretary of State Mariella Mularoni and the Executive Committee, to complete the strengthening of medicine territory of San Marino. The reorganization of the Territorial Operations Center and the works for the restructuring of the Health Centers already planned, will give a further impetus to this renewal”. “In the coming months – continues Bevere – the implementation of services, including online, will make it possible to make available, directly to citizens, services that are currently provided by going to the ISS offices or clinics, such as for example the collection of certificates or for booking specialist services. Even the doctors who will arrive at the conclusion of the tender will contribute to this transformation already underway and to the launch of the telemedicine project, which represents the productive and concrete result of the relationship between the State Hospital and local medicine, for the benefit of citizens and the personnel involved”.
