The Radio and TV award has always been won by Achille Lauro while the critics award was instead won by Mate for his Dna. The special prize for tourism San Marino is not clear: it was announced on stage for Ivana Spagna but then it turned out to be a joke of the TV show Hyenas. In the press conference after the victory Lauro claimed his choice to participate in A voice for San Marino: «My collaborators and I have worked hard for this. Now we want to bring all the experience we have gained over the years to Eurovision ».
A voice for San Marino it was a quiet festival. Few ads, few social interactions and little interest from the Italian public. Then the storm mounted. First with the memes, with the singers of San Remo who have begun to relaunch on social networks their participation in the competition with the aim of obtaining a ticket for Eurovision.
