Barra de Santiago and San Marcelino redeemed themselves on the second day of the Beach Soccer World Winners Cup 2024, which is being held in Alghero, Italy, after a negative debut.
The women’s team of the El Salvador Beach Soccer League showed their grit to achieve their first victory on an international scale, after beating the #3 team in the Beach Soccer Worldwide Club Ranking, Marseille of France.
The national team from La Paz defeated the French team 6-5, a very close match that ultimately left the Cuscatlecas victorious thanks to the daring of Ingrid Ramos, who took the team on her shoulders for the positive result.
Barras de Santiago also got on the winning track after beating the Hungarian team, Bonyhad 4-3, and it seems that the goal-scorers have a chance of advancing to the next phase.
