During today, Tuesday, October 15, and tomorrow, Wednesday the 16th, San Juan will be the scene of the provincial stage of the Evita Games Adapted 2024a key instance where those classified for the national phase of this inclusive competition will be defined.
Today, the Aldo Cantoni Stadium is the meeting point for 30 young people from different departments of the province, Those who participate in table tennis competitions will demonstrate their skills and sportsmanship in an event that highlights the importance of adapted sports in social integration.
The action will continue tomorrow at the Physical Education Center No. 20 (CEF No. 20), where the athletics tests will take place. On this day, young people with various disabilities will compete, including the categories of intellectual disability, motor disability, cerebral palsy, blind and visually impaired, all in the Under-18 category, the tests will include the following disciplines:
- 100, 200 and 1500 meter races
- shot put
- long jump
The results of these two days will define who will represent San Juan in the National Evita Games, which will be from November 4 to 9 in Mar del Plata.
