During the early hours of this Friday, five people were murdered in the municipality of San Francisco de los Romo. The event unleashed a large mobilization by state and municipal public security corporations.
The first reports indicate that the first four victims were executed inside an apartment complex located in the La Ribera subdivision, during the early hours of this Friday.
The victims were identified by the Expert Investigation unit of the State Attorney General’s Office as: Kery Yaretzy, 18 years old; Brenda Fabiola, 42 years old; Leslie Mireya, 18, and Jesús Israel, 27.
The bodies presented bullet wounds in different areas.
The place of the multiple execution was indicated by the neighbors as a point of purchase and sale of narcotics.
Shortly after, another person was also executed in the same subdivision, inside a house on Ixtlahuacán street, a few blocks from where the first violent act was recorded.
The man was identified as Francisco Javier, 49 years old.
Despite the deployment of state and federal elements in the municipalities of the interior, the arrest of those responsible has not been achieved.

In the afternoon, General Rubén Barraza Rodríguez, who commands the 14th Military Zone, reported that around 300 members of the National Guard and the Army traveled from Jalisco to Aguascalientes to reinforce security, given the multiple executions this Friday.
“We are going to coordinate these 300 elements with the Secretary of Public Security of the State of Aguascalientes and with the security director of the municipality of San Francisco de los Romo and we are going to be carrying out the operation here to recover this neighborhood that, unfortunately, is being highly marked by organized crime events.”
The general explained that talks have been held with Governor Tere Jiménez and with other Aguascalientes authorities to combat the levels of violence in the La Ribera subdivision.
According to bulletin issued by the Ministry of Defensethe uniformed officers will remain active in the municipalities of San Francisco de los Romo and Pabellón de Arteaga.
For his part, the Secretary of the State Police, Manuel Alonso García, commented that security operations will be carried out in this and other areas of the state, especially where targets of interest related to drug dealing are located, with the support of the State Attorney General’s Office for the implementation of searches.
“This inter-institutional plan comes to entail a coordinated strategy with the Army, with the National Guard, as we have been working practically in the security tables, right now it has been agreed to be able to carry out operations in this neighborhood.”
He added that the operation will last “as long as it takes”, so that the public feels calm, and affirmed that the events will not go unpunished.
