San Diego County Office of Emergency Services Offers Assistance for Storm-Damaged Homes and Businesses

Residents who suffered damage to their San Diego homes due to recent storms can report this to the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services to estimate flood and rain damage.

Individuals whose property or small business was damaged by storms between December 29, 2022 and January 17, 2023 can complete a damage survey form.

The data collected will be used to estimate total damage across the County and determine whether enough damage occurred to qualify the region for disaster assistance, such as low-interest disaster loans from the Small Business Administration for those without insurance or are underinsured.

Completing the form does not guarantee that the region or property owner will be eligible for disaster assistance.
