“San Diego City Hall Launches Participatory Diagnosis Surveys for 2024 Budget Planning”

The Local Council for Local Planning and Public Policies (CLPP) and the Social Development Directorate of the San Diego City Hall will begin, this April, the Participatory Diagnosis (2023 Surveys) for the collection of information on the 2024 budget.

“The main objective of conducting these surveys is to find out which areas the Mayor’s Office should focus on, to determine the main needs of the different sectors in San Diego, the result of which will allow precise decisions to be made in favor of the municipality,” explained Tania Ramírez, Secretary of the CLPP.

The activity will start on April 25 where officials from the mayor’s office and students will carry out street work. The application of the instrument will last three to four months because it is expected to cover all areas of the jurisdiction. This program will be developed with the support of students from the José Antonio Páez University who will comply with the agreement established for their community service.

Ramírez also indicated that the project will be supervised by the mayor, León Jurado Laurentín, in his capacity as President of the CLPP, who works jointly in the application of the surveys to learn first-hand how the citizen perceives the management of the mayor’s office. Press release.
