SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio pet shelter is making an urgent appeal to the community in an attempt to save multiple puppies.
The San Antonio Pets Alive! reported that there are too many puppies in their shelter located along Highway 151 near Old Highway 90, and they are needed to adopt or foster them.
In case of not finding a home, the animals run the risk of being euthanized, as there is not enough space for them.
“This year has been absolutely overwhelming,” the shelter staff reported. “This is unprecedented.”
As an incentive to promote pet adoption, San Antonio Pets Alive! has reduced its adult dog and puppy adoption fees by 50 percent at all of its locations.
