San Antonio de Bulo Bulo yesterday stopped the winning streak of Gualberto Villarroel (GV) San José after finishing equalizing (3-3) at the Ramón Aguilera Costas stadium, for matchday 19 of the Clausura Championship of the Professional Division.
The Apertura champion started with an advantage over the one who had defeated him in the final of the Simón Bolívar 2023.
The Oruro club reversed the score despite the expulsion of Seimandi. And when the sixth consecutive victory seemed on track for those led by Julio César Baldivieso, Leonardo Egüez’s pupils ended up tying the score.
Although it was unable to sustain its victory at Tahuichi, GV San José continues in the fight to achieve an international award by 2025.
For its part, San Antonio continues to prepare to face the group stage of next year’s Conmebol Libertadores.
THE MATCH The home team opened the scoring on the stroke of halftime, when they were 45’+5′ thanks to Gustavo Mendoza’s goal (1-0).
Shortly after, Seimandi was ejected. At 53, the visit tied the score after Gustavo Olguín scored an own goal (1-1).
Gabriel Sobrero gave the Baldivieso team the advantage in 64 minutes at the Santa Cruz sports venue (1-2).
When the timer showed 79 minutes in the Tahuichi, Roler Ferrufino seemed to “sentence” the victory in favor of GV San José (1-3).
However, Ariel Jaldín closed the gap at 89 and maintained the hope for San Antonio (2-3).
At 90’+2′, Daniel Floro da Silva achieved equality for the home team and established the final figures in Santa Cruz (3-3).
GV San José will host Aurora in Oruro on Friday (3:00 p.m.) and San Antonio will visit Oriente Petrolero on Monday (7:00 p.m.) at the Tahuichi Aguilera.
