Samyang expands its lineup of autofocus video lenses with a short telephoto.
Recently, five lenses were launched in the Samyang V-AF series, all with t/1.9 light transmission. Now the series is completed with a short telephoto lens with 100 mm focal length and light transmission t/2.3.
Samyang V-AF 100 mm t/2,3 FE has the same design, weight distribution and proportions as the previous lenses so that you can change lenses without having to rebalance a gimbal or video head.
The optical construction consists of nine lenses, two of which are in HR glass and two in ED glass. The aperture has nine blades.
The lens has a function ring that can be used for manual focus or aperture adjustment.
For those who want to shoot anamorphic, an add-on will arrive in the spring that fits all the lenses in the V-AF series.
Samyang V-AF 100 mm t/2,3 FE has a Sony E-mount and starts shipping at the end of December. The recommended price is SEK 7,299 including VAT.
