‘Pulp Fiction’ stars Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman are back together in front of the camera for a film called ‘The Kill Room’.

After their reunion on the stage of the 94th Academy Awards last Sunday (March 27), the “Pulp Fiction” stars Samuel L. Jackson (73) and Uma Thurman (51) are apparently working together on a new project. The acting duo will star in The Kill Room, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film was written by Jonathan Jacobson and directed by Nicol Paone (51).

The film is about a hitman who accidentally becomes an art world sensation through a money laundering scheme. Samuel L. Jackson is reportedly set to play the main character’s boss, while Uma Thurman portrays an art dealer.

The dark comedy thriller begins production this spring in New Jersey and New York. The director is already looking forward to her prominent cast. Filming The Kill Room with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson “is beyond my wildest dreams,” Paone said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Every moment they are on screen, they are both enviable and eye-catching. I am eternally grateful to both of them for saying yes (..)”

Breakthrough with “Pulp Fiction”

Uma Thurman celebrated her international breakthrough in 1994 with the role of gangster bride Mia Wallace in Quentin Tarantino’s (59) cult film “Pulp Fiction”. She was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe. She later collaborated with Tarantino again in “Kill Bill – Volume 1” and “Volume 2”.

Jackson has also appeared in several of Tarantino’s films. “Pulp Fiction” also meant the final breakthrough in the industry for him, he was also nominated for a Golden Globe and an Oscar for his role in it. In 2022, Samuel L. Jackson, who is now also celebrating success as a Marvel star, was awarded an honorary Oscar for lifetime achievement.
