Malmö FF’s centre-back talent Samuel Kotto, 19, is listed for an Allsvenskan appearance this season.
Now he is loaned out.
The Cameroonian will spend the autumn on loan at Landskrona Bois.
– During the spring, Samuel took great strides, but continuous playing time is always a prerequisite for development. He was responsible for fine performances during the loan to Olympic last year. Samuel is ready for the next step and playing in the super league with Landskrona will be perfect for him, says MFF sports manager Daniel Andersson in a statement.
Landskrona Bois club manager Michel Ekberg:
– Samuel is a player we have been discussing with for a while now with regard to the movement and the injuries we have had in the centre-back position. Samuel is a fast, physical and exciting centre-back who we believe will complement our squad very well in the autumn, he says in a statement on Bois’ website.
Recently, Landskrona Bois center back Melker Jonsson suffered an injury.
Landskrona announces that they are working on getting Kotto ready to play as soon as possible. The team is in ninth place in the super league.
Kotto’s contract with MFF runs until 2025.
