“Samuel García Sets Forth on New Work Tour in New York City”

After announcing that he was invited to a water conference the next Friday In New York City, United States, Governor samuel garcia confirmed his attendance at this new work tour.

Through his social networks, the state president said that he already obtained permission from his daughter Mariel and his wife Mariana Rodríguez Cantú, to attend the event held by the United Nations Organization (UN).

“On the other hand, since Mariel and Mariana gave me permission, we are going to the water conference and to the high-level events of Water Day in New York, in this case Wave Of Change, Latin America, they have already put together my agenda, in the morning we are going to have a meeting with the Inter-American Development Bank, then with the World Bank, at 3:00 I will participate in a panel and at 6:00 my speech.”

“So if we put it together, we’ll return the same day and if not, we’ll return on Saturday, we’re going to talk about the whole issue of water in Nuevo León,” he said.

In this sense, García Sepúlveda anticipated that in the panels he will take the opportunity to talk about the water situation facing Nuevo León, as well as the different projects that are underway such as the Libertad Dam, the El Cuchillo II aqueduct, the creation of aquifer wells , pressure modulation, among others.

“Water is the future, we are working at a forced march, you know all the projects that are coming this year: the dams, the wells, the modulation, but I am going to take the opportunity to talk about the sustainability of water, how are we going to do it in Nuevo León to start with treated water, with the modernization of irrigation systems for farmers, with desalination, with better systems of care, culture and awareness.

“So be alert because this Friday we are going to give a great message to the world, to Mexico, about what Nuevo León offers the world in terms of water, from New York from the Water Conference,” he concluded.
