Samuel Eto’o Accused of Failing to Pay Alimony to Daughter Annie: Legal Troubles

Samuel Eto’o has never wanted to know from his daughter Annie.

Now she has reported him.

According to Annie, Eto’o has not paid alimony to the mother.

During his football career, Samuel Eto’o had an extramarital affair with an Italian woman named Anna Maria Barranca.

Barranca gave birth to a daughter in 2002 and it was then two years before a DNA test proved that Eto’o was the father of the child.

In 2015, he was then sentenced to pay maintenance for the daughter – 10,000 euros a month.

Now the daughter Annie, who turned 21 years old, claims that Eto’o has stopped paying the alimony and in the fall she reported him to the Milan prosecutor’s office, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

In her report, Annie writes that she failed in a “last desperate attempt” to contact her father, who still does not want any contact.

Annie also writes that she herself has a tough time financially, studies and is dependent on support from her mother.

Eto’o has also been ordered to pay maintenance for another daughter, Erika do Rosario Nieves, who was found to be his as late as February 2022.

Several scandals

Among other things, Samuel Eto’o won the Champions League three times – with Barcelona and Inter – during his career and scored in two CL finals.

After his career, he has become the president of the Cameroon Football Association.

His last year has been turbulent because, among other things, he has assaulted a YouTuber and because there is clear evidence that he has been behind match-fixing in Cameroon’s second division.
