PREŠOV – Slovak hockey forward Samuel Chalupa has agreed to cooperate with Prešov, who will play in the Slovak Hockey League next season. He headed to the club after working in extra-league Michalovci last season. The Prešov club informed about the new acquisition on social networks.
“It’s a big deal for me. Prešov is my home and the memories of my beginnings in this jersey are among the most beautiful. I very fondly remember the atmosphere that prevailed at our stadium in decisive moments. I believe that I will be able to experience it again and help Prešov on the way to achieving our goals.
A great group of people met in Prešov who want to restart hockey in my hometown. I firmly believe that together we can get Prešov hockey to where it belongs,” said Chalupa.
The 28-year-old attacker also played in the highest Slovak competition in the jerseys of Nitra and Slovan Bratislava.
