Samu Haber: “I was looking for adventure”
In his youth, Samu came into contact with a dubious business model known as “Network Marketing”. He was recruiting people to sell junk alarm systems, selling entry-level packages to potential sellers. In an interview with Bild.de he explains: “As a young person I was hungry for life, I was looking for adventure.” The companies had promised him exactly that.

The “The Voice” coach slipped lower
The dubious deals seemed to have been the starting signal for his criminal past: the musician moved to Spain a little later, where he ripped off tourists with timeshare rights for a real estate company. He was part of a gang, some of which later ended up in prison. “The office was in a villa by the sea, the bosses looked like cinema mafiosis”, Samu told Bild.de. He was paid in cash by these bosses, and he had to collect his wages in Gibraltar: “Once we put the money in the first-aid kit of our Mercedes.”
