Samtgemeinde Elbtalaue – Corona traffic light is stable on green for Lüchow-Dannenberg: What applies now

The numbers are falling, the mood is rising? After the incidence rate in Lüchow-Dannenberg fell below the magic 35 on five working days in a row, further relaxation of the Corona rules is possible from Saturday (June 12, 2021).

“We are all delighted about the falling numbers and new freedoms,” says District Administrator Jürgen Schulz, “the longing for a more carefree everyday life has been great for a long time. Nevertheless, I ask all Lüchow-Dannenbergers to continue to be cautious.” His request: It is better to meet outside than inside, ventilate indoor spaces generously and regularly, and be happy to get tested voluntarily – even if it is not mandatory. “Because this way we can detect infections early and prevent the virus from spreading further.”

What remains bindingthe contact restrictions are according to the “10 out of 3 rule”: Up to ten people from a maximum of three households are allowed to meet. This applies not only in public, but also when barbecuing on your terrace at home, going on a bike ride with your clique or having a wedding reception in your own garden. Keeping your distance and wearing a surgical or FFP2 mask have also proven to be effective measures in combating the pandemic and remain in place in many areas of everyday life. The requirement to keep your distance, wear a mask and adhere to the hygiene rules also applies to those who have already recovered and those who have been vaccinated. However, this group of people is exempt from the testing requirement: those who have recovered, provided their illness was no more than six months ago, and those who have been vaccinated at least 14 days after the second vaccination.

These rules are new:

Sport

There is good news especially for the Lüchow-Dannenberg athletes. Because the threshold has been exceeded, the person limit for contact sports is no longer in place. The obligation to test both indoors and outdoors is also no longer in place. In addition to the sports facilities and outdoor pools that are already open, indoor pools are also allowed to open from Saturday. Showers and changing rooms can also be used again. As usual, a hygiene concept is required to limit and control the number of people on the basis of spatial capacities and to ensure that distances are maintained.

Events

There is also a lot more room for events again: events with a seated audience are possible indoors with up to 500 people, and with a partially standing audience with up to 100. At outdoor events with a standing audience, up to 500 guests are permitted. The following still applies: keep your distance and cover your mouth and nose. At seated events, the mask can be removed at the seat. A hygiene concept is required for all events.

gastronomy

The testing requirement is now also no longer applicable in indoor restaurants. However, the mask requirement remains in place – except when seated. A hygiene concept is still required in restaurants.

A special regulation applies to hall operations, i.e. for closed private celebrations in restaurants: Up to 100 people are allowed to celebrate together. However, all guests must present a negative test result (those who have been vaccinated or recovered are exempt) and unless you are sitting down, you must also wear a mask.

Stricter rules also apply to Lüchow-Dannenberger’s nightlife: discos and clubs are only allowed to open at half capacity. Only those who can prove a negative test result, full vaccination or recovery are allowed entry. Masks are compulsory, except at the table.

tourism

In the accommodation sector, the testing requirement remains in place for the time being, regardless of the incidence. As before, guests must be tested once upon arrival and then twice a week. This still applies not only to hotels and guest houses, but also to holiday apartments and campsites. A hygiene concept is still required.

Shopping and Services

Whether retail, flea markets, hair salons or tattoo studios: all of these establishments are open and can be visited without a test. What remains is the obligation to wear a mask and the need for a hygiene concept.

Church services, weddings, baptisms, funerals

Church services and other religious events can take place with a hygiene concept. Masks are compulsory until visitors have taken their seats.

At weddings, baptisms, confirmations and communions, there is no longer a limit on the number of people at the ceremony. The distance requirement applies. Mouth and nose must be covered until you are seated. At the subsequent celebration, however, the existing contact restrictions must be observed (“10 out of 3 rule”) – even if the celebration takes place in your own house or garden. Larger private celebrations with up to 100 guests are currently only possible in restaurants.

Meeting of children

Children up to 14 years of age are allowed to meet in groups of up to 10 children – together with adults from one household.
