- Samsung is preparing a new generation localization tag
- It will be equipped with a new UWB chip with centimeter accuracy of localization
In 2021, Samsung introduced the Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag+ location tags, which made it easier for users to find lost items with high accuracy. This year we will probably see a new generation, the arrival of which is indicated by the recent premiere of the Samsung Exynos Connect U100 chip.
The novelty is supposed to represent a complete localization and communication solution, which is built on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and UWB (ultra wide-band) technologies.
