Samsung’s new camera app “Expert RAW” will be released for more phones

Samsung’s new advanced camera app Expert RAW has been beta tested on the Galaxy S21 Ultra since last fall and will be available on the Galaxy S22 series.

An official post in Samsung’s South Korean forum says that more phones will be available Expert RAW later this year. The Galaxy S22 trio will be able to install the app at launch now at the end of February.

The S21 Ultra will get the (sharp?) App in early March, while the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get it in April. The app will finally be released for Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 2 sometime during the first half of the year.

Expert RAW offers, among other things, advanced manual controls, integration of Adobe Lightroom, computing photography, multi-frame HDR, the RAW format (including DNG RAW), and lossless JPG.
