This year’s flagship smartphones from Samsung are already on sale, now is the time to rejuvenate mid-range phones. The Korean manufacturer is known for making its middle class more attractive with elements known from higher models, and this year will be no different. According to the latest information, selected Galaxy A series phones will receive displays with a high refresh rate, and even water resistance.
Galaxy A52 5G: 120Hz display and water resistance
Popular smartphone Galaxy A51 will soon see his successor, which we have described in more detail in this article. The upcoming Galaxy A52 will probably arrive sometime next month, and we can look forward to two variants – with network support 5G and without her.
However, this will not be the only difference, according to the latest information, the basic model will receive a 90Hz display, while the variant with support for 5G networks will be equipped with a 120Hz display. This option will probably be related to the processor used; the basic Galaxy A52 will get the Snapdragon 720G under the hood, while the 5G variant will be powered by the more powerful Snapdragon 750G.
According to the leaked training video, we can also look forward to water resistance with IP67 protection in the Galaxy A52 5G, which will be a rarity in this class of phones from Samsung. Whether other models will experience water resistance is still in the stars.
Samsung is also preparing a new Galaxy A72 smartphone, which will be very similar in equipment to the basic Galaxy A52 – it will also receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset and a display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. We do not yet know whether there will be increased resistance or the existence of a 5G variant.
