Samsung’s accessible tablet unveiled in press releases

Samsung would prepare a more accessible version of its Galaxy Tab S6 with a price of less than 400 euros. The WinFuture site delivers all the information about it even before its officialization

Last July, Samsung unveiled a new tablet high-end, called Galaxy Tab S6. With a 10.5-inch screen with a double photo module on the back and a Snapdragon 855 chip, it may soon be entitled to a more accessible Lite version.

In any case, this is what the German site WinFuture announces in an article published this week. Journalist Roland Quandt has indeed obtained press rendering images of the future tablet from Samsung, as well as a large part of its characteristics. Enough to discover back and forth and across the new slate of the Korean firm.

The same processor as on the Galaxy A51

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is expected to follow the main lines of the Galaxy Tab S6 with a flat back and thin borders around the screen. Regarding the display, it should be a 10.4 inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels. In addition, the tablet should not integrate a high-end Snapdragon chip as is the case with last year’s premium model, but a house chip from Samsung, the Exynos 9611 already used in particular on the Samsung galaxy a51. It would be accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage. The tablet should be available in Wi-Fi version, but a 4G model would also be provided with integrated GPS.

For cameras too, Samsung would have cut costs with no longer two sensors on the back, but only one of eight megapixels. On the front, the manufacturer would have planned to integrate a 5 megapixel camera for video calls or selfies. Finally, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite would integrate a 7040 mAh battery.

As of yet, it’s unclear when Samsung plans to officially introduce its new entry-level tablet. According to WinFuture, it could be launched at a price ranging from 350 to 400 euros.
