Samsung would miss the curved screen

The Galaxy Note 20s are said to be covered with a flat-edge rather than curved screen, a well-known leaker reveals. As was already the case with the Galaxy S20s, Samsung has reportedly decided to ignore the usual curved screen that sets its smartphones apart from the competition. At the same time, another informant lifted the veil on the date the product was released in store.

This Tuesday, June 9, 2020, Ice Universe, famous leaker of the smartphone galaxy, has once again mentioned the Galaxy Note 20 on his Twitter account. Generally well informed on the plans of the South Korean manufacturer, he ensures that the Note 20 will be sublimated byan AMOLED screen with flat edges.

Last year, Samsung was still equipping Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ and the Galaxy S10 ultra curved slabs. Curved screens have been part of the DNA of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note for several years. With the S20 range, Samsung has however decided to reverse the trend by opting for slabs with much flatter edges.

According to the latest news, we would find the same type of 2.5D screen on the Note 20. This is not a surprise. As you would expect, the Note 20 looks visually very close to the Galaxy S20. Other similarities include the rectangular photo frame and the Infinity-O perforated screen.
