As we all know, Samsung Display is a dominant player in the OLED market and one of the main reasons why Apple has entrusted Samsung with the orbit of its iPhone 14 OLED devices.
In this case, the iPhone is said to be producing around 120 million units of its new flagship series. Of these, at least 80 million will use panels made by Samsung, another 20 million will use screens from LG Display and around 6 million will use BOEs from China.
The report also reveals that Samsung and LG Display are supplying panels for all four versions of the iPhone 14, while BOE will only produce the 6.1-inch LTPS OLED for the vanilla iPhone 14.
Of the 80 million units, 60 million panels made by Samsung Display will be used on Pro model devices. This is because this is a version that performs better than expected.
