Jakarta (ANTARA) – Samsung Electronics Indonesia announced the arrival of the Galaxy A14 5G, the first cellphone they will launch in 2023.
“The presence of the Galaxy A14 5G is a form of Samsung’s commitment to providing wider choices for consumers who want to migrate to 5G with an affordable smartphone,” said senior marketing manager at Samsung Electronics Indonesia Ilham Indrawan, in an official statement, Thursday.
At a price of IDR 2,999,000, Samsung is targeting users who want to migrate from 4G to 5G networks. They use chip from MediaTek, namely Dimensity 700 which already supports the 5G network on the Galaxy A14 5G.
Performa chip supported by 6GB of RAM, with RAM Plus, users can get up to 6GB of additional RAM. The RAM expansion feature works by taking some capacity from external storage capacity so that the Galaxy A14 5G can work more smoothly when opening heavy applications.

In addition, the Galaxy A14 is equipped with an external storage capacity of 128GB which can be expanded up to 1TB with a memory card.
For the screen, Samsung provides a 6.6-inch wide screen with FHD + resolution, which supports refresh rate 90Hz and touch sampling rate 180Hz.
The Galaxy A14 has three cameras on the back, with a 50MP main camera. The other two cameras are a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens.
On the front camera, Samsung has embedded a 13MP lens. The front and rear cameras of the Galaxy A14 support video recording at 1080 pixels and 30fps.
The cellphone has a 5,000mAh battery, charging using a USB Type-C cable which supports 15W fast charging.
