Samsung unveils its latest innovations for a ‘Better Normal for All’
Samsung enhances the home experience with products like the Bespoke 4-Door Flex, the 110-inch MICRO LED and the JetBot 90 AI +.
Samsung shared its vision for the future at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021. During the virtual press conference, many products and solutions that make everyday life easier thanks to AI were presented, such as the Micro LED 110 inches and the JetBot 90 AI +. Samsung is also strongly committed to sustainable development in 2021, for example with green packaging and remote controls powered by solar energy.
Create more intimate and personalized user experiences
As women and men have spent more time in their homes over the past year, the desired technology has evolved into the needed technology. By leveraging this technology, they realized that connected solutions could make their lives easier in so many ways. Televisions are essential for entertainment, but also for fitness. Chromebooks and tablets have become essential home learning tools. Smart refrigerators have helped with remote shopping and meal preparation. As for smartphones, they have proven to be essential.
Samsung is constantly responding to rapidly changing lifestyles. Here are the most important innovations of 2021:
• 110 inch MICRO LED display: This TV works with self-illuminating LEDs, delivering stunning picture quality and a spectacular and immersive viewing experience. The Infinity Screen, practically frameless, further reinforces this device. The result: a spectacular and immersive viewing experience coupled with remarkable image quality. The 110-inch MICRO LED with Quad Multi View, which allows you to see four screens simultaneously. So you can watch multiple sports at the same time, or follow a streaming tutorial while playing.
• Lifestyle TVs: Samsung’s Lifestyle TV line includes The Serif, The Frame, The Sero and The Terrace, a 4K QLED outdoor TV, as well as The Premiere, a cinematography-quality 4K laser projector.
• SmartThings Cooking: Cooking has never been easier than with this app. The Meal Planner makes recommendations for the whole week, creates shopping lists with the necessary ingredients and, through the Family Hub ™ refrigerator or your mobile device, you can even order them directly at the supermarket. Recipe instructions can be sent directly to synced Samsung cooking devices to reduce hassles and errors1.
Simplifying household with AI and robotics
With seven research centers around the world, Samsung has been a pioneer in AI and robotics for years. By incorporating AI into its products, Samsung is creating new home experiences: from washing machines that optimize the use of water, detergents and wash cycles, to TVs with a Quantum AI processor that can enhance HD content in 8K resolution.
The main technologies presented at Samsung’s press conference are as follows:
• JetBot 90 AI +: By recognizing objects, this vacuum determines the best way to clean a room. LiDAR and 3D sensors allow the JetBot 90 AI + to avoid cables and small items, while cleaning hard-to-reach corners of your home. Also equipped with a camera, the JetBot 90 AI + is integrated with the SmartThings app to help you monitor your home.
• Samsung Bot ™ Care2: The latest iteration of the Samsung line of robots, the Samsung Bot ™ Care robot is designed to use artificial intelligence to recognize and respond to your behavior. It will be able to act as both a robotic assistant and a companion, helping you take care of the details of your life. It will also get to know your schedule and habits, and send you reminders to guide you through your busy day.
• Samsung Bot ™ Handy3: This robot will rely on advanced artificial intelligence to recognize and grasp objects of different sizes, shapes and weights, thus becoming an extension of yourself and helping you work around the house. The Samsung Bot ™ Handy robot will be able to differentiate between the material composition of various objects, using the appropriate force to grab and move household objects and items, working as your trusted partner to help you with tasks household items such as cleaning up messy rooms or sorting dishes after a meal.
Samsung continues to rely on its Samsung Bot ™ Retail robot, which will guide users in commercial environments, and on GEMS, the exoskeleton of Samsung, your health partner who, for example, will help you exercise.

• Eco Packaging and Solar Energy: Samsung will expand its eco-friendly packaging to QLED, UHD TV, monitor and audio products in 2021. For sustainability reasons, the new TV remotes will all be powered by solar energy; they can be recharged both by the sun and by the interior lighting.
