“Samsung to Release Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 Foldable Phones in July 2023”

SEOUL – Samsung is rumored to release two soon foldable phone at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26 2023. Samsung will present its newest folding phones, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

This leaked information comes from Chosun, the media South Korea . The launch of these two Samsung foldable phones is ahead of the previous plan which was scheduled for release in August 2023.

“This accelerated release plan indicates that Samsung wants to increase its revenue in the third quarter of this year,” Neowin was quoted as saying, Wednesday (17/5/2023). Reports indicated a shift in the release schedule due to sluggish semiconductor chip sales impacting Samsung’s profits.

The presence of the next generation folding cellphone from Samsung is quite interesting because it carries superior specifications. The Galaxy Z Fold 5, for example, carries a hinge design that allows the screen to fold more evenly with fewer wrinkles.

The internal screen is 7.6 inches and the outer screen is 6.2 inches. Not only that, the folding cellphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 cellphone, also has the opportunity to be equipped with IP68 water and dust resistant certification.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 features an improved hinge mechanism designed to minimize the crease in the middle of the screen. The screen hinge design allows both sides of the folding screen to close tightly without gaps.

The external screen is likely to be 3.8 inches in size which gives more room for various features and controls on the secondary screen. Both of these folding phones are rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Then for internal storage there is 128GB to 512GB space.
