Unmatched picture quality and cinematic surround sound push the boundaries of gaming

Samsung launches the Odyssey Ark, the latest model in the industry-leading Odyssey family and the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming monitor. The huge screen has a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms (GtG[1]). In addition, the Odyssey Ark features a brand new Cockpit mode and an exclusive controller, the Ark Dial, for the best gaming experience.

The innovative Odyssey Ark offers an unprecedented cinematic experience, superior performance and an extremely flexible interface. During its presentation at CES earlier this year, the Odyssey Ark was nominated for a CES Innovation Award.

The cinematic experience stimulates the senses
The large 55-inch screen fills the entire field of view, including peripheral vision, thanks to the 1000R curve. This is emphasized even more in Cockpit mode, which allows the screen to rotate thanks to the HAS (Height Adjustable Stand) tilt and rotate functionality. This guarantees complete immersion in the game environment.

The Odyssey Ark features Samsung’s Quantum Matrix technology with Quantum Mini LED. This carefully checks the compact LEDs. Thanks to the new 14-bit processing, an advanced light control technology, you can see dark and bright scenes with crisp clarity. The 16,384 black levels provide ultra realistic graphics.

The million-to-one static contrast ratio captures even the finest details perfectly. The Neural Quantum Processor Ultra enhances every visual detail and increases image quality to 4K by leveraging data generated by 20 neural networks.

For the best cinematic experience, the Odyssey Ark uses Samsung’s matte display and Sound Dome technology. The matte screen offers anti-glare and anti-glare protection. This way you stay focused on the image without distractions. Impressive sound is made possible by Sound Dome Tech with AI Sound Booster and Dolby Atmos for a better surround experience. Four speakers, one on each corner, and two center woofers provide realistic and rich sound. The 60W 2.2.2 channel delivers the lowest 45Hz tones of any gaming monitor or gaming soundbar.

Superior gaming performance optimized for gamers
The Odyssey Ark Samen combines a refresh rate of 165Hz with a 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) and a 1ms (GtG) response time with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, for maximum screen accuracy. This gives players a competitive edge in fast-moving gaming environments.

Find the perfect settings to win with the flexible interface
Gamers are expecting more and more personalized and customizable gaming experiences. The Odyssey Ark offers a host of innovative features that allow you to adjust the screen size, screen position and even screen aspect ratio for an optimal experience. With the solar-powered Ark Dial, the exclusive controller for Odyssey Ark, you can quickly and easily control a variety of settings, such as Flex Move Screen, Multi View, Quick Settings and Game Bar.

With Flex Move Screen you can adjust the screen size between 55 and 27 inches, change the screen position and even set the screen ratio to 16: 9, 21: 9 or 32: 9, all with a simple tap of the Ark Dial. This freedom in horizontal and vertical position gives you even more control over your viewing experience. Multi View allows you to make the most of the big screen by viewing up to four screens simultaneously in horizontal position or three in Cockpit mode. This means you no longer need multiple monitors, which ensures a tidy environment.

Game bar[2] is a powerful tool that allows you to quickly and easily check the status of your game and check important settings, without leaving the game screen. From setting FPS (Frames Per Second), HDR (High Dynamic Range) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), to adjusting the screen ratio, response time or Game Picture mode, the Game Bar gives you control you need to win.

In addition to being equipped with a solar panel, the Ark Dial can also be recharged via a USB-C connection, eliminating the need for disposable batteries.
