KONTAN.CO.ID – SEOUL. Surprisingly, Samsung suddenly shared system updates for their two older HP products, namely the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 line.
Two models that are five years old suddenly received an official firmware update offer from Samsung. Launch SamMobile, The division started from South Korea where the Galaxy Note 5 received the firmware version N920SKSS2DTJ2.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and Galaxy S6 Edge +, have also been updated with firmware versions G92xSKSS3ETJ1 and G928SKSS3DTJ3.
Latest report from SamMobile mentioned that currently the distribution of firmware updates has expanded to Europe and LATAM.
This latest firmware update does not change the Android OS version. Both models will still run Android 7.0 Nougat. Interestingly, Samsung also still maintains the September 2018 security patches that were last released over two years ago.

The new firmware update claims to add security-related stabilization code but the level of security patches remains unchanged.
It is not certain why Samsung suddenly distributed system updates for their two old heroes. Its appearance again after two years has also made Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 users even more surprised.
SamMobile estimates that at this time Samsung discovered a vulnerability affecting the two models and should fix it as soon as and simply as possible.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 were released in 2015, in March and August respectively. Both appeared as flagship models from Samsung and immediately managed to steal the attention of many users.
The re-sharing of system updates this year also shows that the two devices are still widely used in various parts of the world.
