Escape people are arguing about what the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will look like, ie the best model of the brand. More precisely, the best classic model of the brand, which should have its premiere – like the entire Galaxy S22 series – in January or February next year.
For several weeks now, renders have been appearing that show the arrangement of the news photo module. There is no ambiguity about the rest of the device, the design will not be too different from this year’s models, or it could easily approach last year’s grade 20, the last phone in this series.
This year, Samsung has not shown any new notebooks, and it looks like this series is definitely over. The replacement will be the Ultra models. This year already supports the stylus, but only the next one will have a place in his body, so he will fully replace Note.
However, the mobile world solves a much less fundamental problem, and that is the design of the photomodule. It is not at all about what the camera will be able to do, it is not entirely clear yet, apparently it will not be conceptually very different from the photomodule of the current Galaxy S21 Ultra. Some sensors may have a higher resolution, but it is unlikely that the main sensor will have a resolution of 200 Mpix, as previously speculated.
Samsung already has such a sensor, but commercial deployment will probably be later than would be needed for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. And probably Samsung won’t even want to risk using a new extreme chip in the flagship model, where the public will blur every single mistake.

Back to design. In fact, the layout of the lenses will not be fundamentally different from the appearance of this year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra. The lenses will be placed in the shape of the letter P. But this year’s model (and all Galaxy S21) has a rather unusual design of the whole module, which extends into the side of the phone. However, this will not be repeated for the next generation.
The first information published indicated that the module was in the form of a letter P. There should be a horizontal gap between the lenses after warning from another leak. But in the end, it will probably all be different.
Dutch website Letsgodigital, which has the information of the leakers materialized by means of various graphics, came up with a third variant. The information was provided by a South Korean escape from the nickname Super Roader, who was previously supposed to work directly in Samsung’s mobile division. And according to him, the Galaxy S22 Ultra photomodule will look even different.
The location of the lenses will remain, but they will not be in one or two blocks, but separately in the body of the device.
