Samsung reveals prices for the Galaxy A42 5G and 2020 Tab A7

KOMPAS.com – Some time ago, Samsung introduced a 5G phone from the A series family which it claims will be smartphone Samsung’s cheapest 5G. However, at that time, Samsung had not revealed the price and when this phone was available on the market.

Finally, Samsung shed some light. According to the official Samsung website in German, Galaxy A42 5G will begin to be purchased at retail online starting next November.

The price is pegged from 369 euros or around Rp. 6.4 million (at the rupiah exchange rate at the time this news was published).

There is no information on which countries will be targeted other than countries in Europe. For information, usually the price of cell phones in Europe is more expensive than in the United States or other countries because of the applicable taxes there.

This price is indeed cheaper than that smartphone 5G from the Galaxy A series, which was released a few months ago.

In comparison, in April, Samsung released the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71, the first two A-series smartphones to support 5G networks.

In the United States (US), the Galaxy A71 5G sells for 599 US dollars, or around Rp. 8.6 million. While the Galaxy A51 5G is priced at 499 US dollars or around Rp.7.4 million.

The Galaxy A42 5G has a design similar to most smartphones in the Galaxy A line. The front is decorated notch similar to the letter “U” (Infinity-U) affixed to the upper side of the 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen.

Bangs or notch it is used to house a 20 MP resolution selfie camera. On the back, there is a camera module consisting of four sensors, each with a resolution of 48 MP, main camera, 8 MP ultrawide, 5 MP macro, and 5 MP depth sensor.

This phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh capacity battery. There are three colors available namely black, white and gray.
