Samsung brings its largest QLED television to the Netherlands. And by big, we mean big. It has a size of 98 inches. That means the diagonal is almost 2.5 meters. A large TV for your living room, where you really have to convince your partner that it is a good idea to buy it. Especially because of the price.
Samsung’s huge new television
You’ve probably also noticed it when you walk through a TV store. The need for large screens is increasing. We really want to experience films and series. While 55-inch is currently one of the most popular dimensions, it can be much larger. Samsung sees that too.
Samsung brings the QLED Q80C to the Netherlands. This is a 4K television with a Neural Quantum Processor. Thanks to AI upscaling technology, the image remains sharp.
QLED is of course known for its color volume. They really splash off your screen. The big question is how the blacks will be, which are much better with OLED. Nevertheless, Samsung claims that the device has done well thanks to the Quantum HDR + technology.
You can also enjoy gaming on the screen, because Samsung’s television has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and it should enable Premium Pro HDR gaming with low latency.

What is particularly striking is that the huge screen with a thickness of 48.5 millimeters is very thin. You can also hang it on the wall. The thin edges of the screen also ensure that it fits better in the interior.
Don’t forget the sound
The Samsung QLED Q80C supports Dolby Atmos. By means of Object Tracking Sound, the sound moves with the action on the screen. So you’re even better in the movie. It is, however, advisable to add a soundbar to such a flat television to really get a much fuller sound. This TV also has a function that ensures that the two devices are perfectly matched.
