Samsung Promises to Make Smartphones that Can Be Folded Mainstream

SEOUL, iNews.id – Samsung confirmed they are releasing a new foldable smartphone soon. This South Korean (South Korean) electronics company is also trying to make the category mainstream.

Samsung has announced a 20 percent increase in revenue to 63.67 trillion won with an operating profit of 12.57 trillion won. The South Korean electronics company outlines plans for the future.

“With the successful launch of a new foldable smartphone with an enhanced user experience, the company will strengthen its leadership in the premium segment by mainstreaming the foldable phone category while continuing the sales momentum of the Galaxy S series throughout the year,” said Samsung.

So far, there are two things preventing foldable devices from going mainstream: reliability and price. The issue of reliability has been handled quite efficiently since the original Galaxy Fold, which famously broke down at the hands of reviewers.

The second-generation Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G had no widespread crash reports and were widely considered to be very well designed, according to Trusted Reviews.
