The first Samsung factory in the United States appeared in 1996. The second enterprise had to wait 11 years. Both sites are located in Austin. Next year, the company intends to launch the most modern contract manufacturing of semiconductor products, but will not stop there.
The new enterprise will cost $17 billion. More than half of this amount ($11 billion) the South Korean company intends to invest in the purchase of equipment.
