JawaPos.com – The big leak of One UI 6.1 just came out at the end of last week. The leak reveals several Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered features that will be coming to Samsung phones next year. One UI version 6.1 will likely arrive along with the Galaxy S24 range which will arrive early next year.
Most of the reported features are very similar to the new Pixel features included with the Pixel 8 family. Reporting from GSMArena, Samsung’s One UI 6.1 will let you create custom wallpapers and apply weather and portrait effects to the lock screen.
The image editor will also become more powerful. You can even expand images beyond their original boundaries and move objects from one image to another. Samsung Notes will also be able to summarize large blocks of text with bullet points.
Additionally, AI is planned to help you make calls, just like the Pixel. Real-time translator, ambient noise cancellation, and transcription are the call-related features coming to One UI 6.1.
Lastly, the leak also mentions improvements to battery protection, customization, and improved animations. This will clearly add to the user experience when using Samsung smartphones in the future.
Currently, Samsung’s Android skin is still at One UI 6.0, featuring, among other things, a redesigned Quick Panel, a new notification interface, a new universal font, a new media player widget, and redesigned emoji. Then with One UI 6.0, Samsung introduced various new and better features.
