Samsung will launch the 110-inch Samsung MicroLED, the first television with revolutionary MicroLED display technology for home use, in early 2021. In 2018, the first Samsung MicroLED TV made its debut, in the form of “The Wall”. This invention, which was intended for the business market, consisted of several modular modules. With the new 110-inch MicroLED, Samsung is making this technology available for the first time in a traditional television format. Unlike its modular counterpart, the 110-inch MicroLED model has a fixed format, but everything that makes MicroLED display technology a revolutionary technology is present.

Innovate for the best possible image quality
Fans of ultra-wide screens want excellent picture quality with vivid colors and stunning resolution. Thanks to Samsung’s latest technological innovations, the MicroLED 110 ”uses micrometer-sized LEDs to eliminate backlighting and color filters, ensuring the best possible image: extremely bright, vivid and with a gamut of colors of 100%. The secret of this technology is that the 8 million pixels light up individually and thus produce light and colors themselves.
The MicroLED 110 ”also has a processor powerful enough to match its display capabilities. Its all-new Micro AI processor delivers stunning 4K HDR content, resulting in bright, vivid and lifelike picture quality optimized for every scene. Additionally, MicroLEDs are made from inorganic materials which are durable and tough. The maximum service life is 100,000 hours, or more than a decade.
Previously, it was not possible to mass produce a MicroLED display as small as 110 ”for the home market. But thanks to revolutionary innovations, you can now enjoy the best image in your living room. These same innovations will allow Samsung to produce even smaller MicroLED models in the future, so that even more consumers can access this unique experience.
Immersive design and premium audio
When you turn on the MicroLED 110 ”, you get a spectacular immersive experience thanks to its 99.99% screen-to-frame ratio that completely immerses you in the picture without being distracted.
Samsung has innovated and optimized the functions of its Smart TV to take advantage of the large 110-inch MicroLED screen. For example, consumers can use the “Multi View” feature to comfortably watch up to four content sources simultaneously on split screens up to 55 inches. Using this feature, you can connect multiple external devices and enjoy news, movies and other apps simultaneously on one screen. You can follow several sports at the same time or watch a guided tour while playing a video game, all with amazing quality and dimensions.
In addition, the visual experience is coupled with an equally immersive dynamic audio experience.
