Samsung launches the FlipSide in a unique social campaign

Samsung Electronics Australia has launched a unique social campaign called The FlipSide, in partnership with four TikTok creators.

Samsung Electronics Australia has launched a new social campaign showcasing the FlipSides of the creators of Samsung’s #TeamGalaxy.

Coinciding with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, the campaign explores how new possibilities open up when we are open to change.

Designed for the TikTok generation, the #FindYourFlipside campaign kicks off with a film that flips the narrative on what creators are famous for, using the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 as portals to these alternate realities.

In collaboration with Entropico Films, directed by Natasha Foster and starring @loserfruit, @dimsimlim @simplydanbrown and @rowisingh, the film features a commissioned song from the revolutionary Korean/Australian hip-hop collective, 1300. A music video produced by Videohead and directed by Raghav Rampal was also made for the track.

A series of content follows, showcasing each creator’s self-discovery as they are educated and motivated throughout their reverse journey, all with impressive and unexpected results.

“Redefining the art of self-expression is one of the core pillars of our Galaxy Z Flip4,” said Eric Chou, director of product and marketing, Samsung Electronics Australia.

“With this Social First campaign, we seek to challenge the status quo by subverting expectations and inspiring our creators in unexpected and fun ways.”

Kirsty Gavin, Chief Creative Officer, CHEP Network National Group, added: “With popular gamer Loserfruit taking herself offline to learn a dance routine and chef @dimsimlim trading her cooking skills to discover jewelery design, we demonstrate that overturn what our creators are renowned for instantly creating unexpected content.

The campaign was launched on Samsung’s social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, BVOD, Pinterest and Yahoo.
