Samsung announced its release of a 98-inch 8K Neo QLED TV and 120W speakers, at a price of $39,000.
The South Korean company Samsung introduced today the 8K Neo QLED device in the South Korean market, and this device comes as the new QNC990 model and joins the QLED and Neo QLED 4K devices.
The TV features a Mini LED display with 8K resolution and supports HDR10, HDR10 Plus, Adaptive HDR10, HDR10 Plus for Gaming and HLG.
In addition, the 8K Neo QLED features a slim design with metal bezels, featuring hundreds of dimming points for maximum screen brightness.
The device supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz and AMD Freesync Premium Pro technology, and the screen features an anti-glare and anti-reflective design.
The device also supports Pantone standards for color accuracy and has improved integration with the SmartThings app for phones.
The device also comes with a powerful audio system that includes 6.4.4 channels in a 120W amplifier, supports Dolby Atmos technology, Q-Symphony 3.0 technology, Adaptive Sound Plus technology, and a smart subwoofer.
This is in addition to the Neo Quantum chip for 8K resolution and the Tizen 7.0 operating system. The device is available with an HDMI port, USB port, optical input, and RF port, and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 technology.
