Samsung has now started mass-producing 90 Hz OLED screens for laptops, reports The Verge.
“90 Hz OLED screens offer more options for consumers who want to enjoy high-performance content on their laptops. With our innovative OLED screens, we continue to lead the market for screen technology that offers superior image quality,” Samsung Display said in a statement.
The OLED screens will appear in several upcoming 14-inch laptops from Asus.
“Requirements for laptops continue to increase as homework and distance learning become the new norm,” said Asus Vice General Manager, YC Chen in a statement, adding:
“OLED screens can meet the different needs of consumers in connection with using laptops for school, virtual meetings, video streaming, gaming, and more.”
