TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Samsung is rumored not to be launching a line of smartphones Galaxy Note Series in 2021.
According to a report on the UberGizmo site quoted on Thursday (29/7/2021), in the unpacked 2021 event, Samsung said it would not launch the Galaxy Note Series this year.

This news was reinforced by a statement from President & Head of Communication TM Roh who said that his party would not launch the Galaxy Note this year.
“We will not launch the Galaxy Note in 2021, and we will try to implement the features in the Note on Samsung Galaxy devices,” said Roh.

The South Korean company also briefly mentioned that the company will not produce the Note Series due to the shortage of chips that hit the world.

Instead, Samsung will equip their flagship smartphone with the features of the Note Series such as the S Pen which is only available in this series.
Meanwhile, according to a Techcrunch report, Samsung is rumored to be replacing the role of the Note Series with a Galaxy Z device which is referred to as a merger between a foldable smartphone and a note.
“We’re going to share a foldable phone surprise (Galaxy Z, namely) the S Pen which is specially designed for foldable phones,” explained Roh according to a Techcrunch report.
Roh also said that in 2021 Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Z Flip series which is stronger and more durable with an updated model. Plus introduces the new Z Fold series.
