Samsung is predicted to bring back the FE line for the Galaxy S23 series

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Samsung is predicted to return with the FE (Fan Edition) line for its flagship cellphone, the Galaxy S23 series.

The Fan Edition line for the Galaxy S22 series generation was deliberately not presented by Samsung because it was still constrained by the chip crisis and besides that Samsung chose to increase the production of the Galaxy S22 Ultra which apparently experienced an increase in demand from the market.

Launching GSM Arena, Friday, the FE line at Samsung will be introduced in 2020 starting with the Galaxy S20 FE.

In particular, the FE line is presented for fans of high-end Samsung cellphones and brings several better specifications than the usual series following the most requests from fans.

On the Galaxy S20 FE it can be seen that this cellphone has attracted a lot of public attention, as evidenced by the achievement of shipments of more than 10 million in 2020.

After that, Samsung decided to continue the FE line on the Galaxy S21 and release it in early 2022.

But different from the previous generation, sales of the Galaxy S21 FE provide somewhat less performance.

With that in mind, the Galaxy S22 does not feature the FE line.

However, in the latest report revealed by the local media Hankooki, Samsung will again present the FE line for the Galaxy S23.

The report also mentions that the Galaxy S23 FE will arrive sometime between August or September 2023.

As for the Galaxy S23 FE, it is expected to have a chipset from Snapdragon, whether it’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or it could be Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

In the same report, some other interesting information was revealed, such as Samsung will rearrange its smartphone portfolio from its Galaxy A series.

It seems that Samsung chose to eliminate the A7 series and continue the success of the Galaxy A series with the A5 series.
