Samsung is increasing the RAM of some more of its smartphones

Although we have more and more RAM on smartphones, this is an essential element and is not always well managed by apps or operating systems. Ways to get around these problems exist, but almost always to the detriment of users.

Brands like Samsung use a technique that isn’t new, but it works well. Virtually increasing RAM is simple and for many brands the simplest way to ensure everything runs smoothly. Samsung took advantage and is extending this concept to a few more smartphones.

Like many other brands in the Android universe, Samsung has also decided to increase the RAM of some of its smartphones. The way to do this is simple and uses storage to receive the data that needs to be temporarily saved to be processed.

With the name RAM Plus, the brand intends to ensure that their smartphones are up to what is required. With a simple and quick update, Samsung smartphones grow this essential element.

The brand's plans for this launch were already known, but now even more is known, with some smartphones receiving this update. The first to have access to this novelty seems to be the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

This smartphone already has the update that brings you the affordable RAM Plus, its installation being essential. As you can see in the image below, the Galaxy A52 5G will then have 6GB of RAM, with 4GB more to be received via RAM Plus.

The most ridiculous thing is that Samsung doesn't seem to be limiting this memory increase to smartphones with fewer resources. The update that brings access to this virtual RAM also seems to be coming to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, a smartphone with a lot of physical RAM.

This new parameter that Samsung is bringing cannot be configured. It is limited to the additional 4GB and cannot be increased or decreased. Also, with Android's management of RAM available, this new feature will hardly be used. Still, it's good to know that smartphones can count on this increment.
