Samsung is called to prepare 5 foldable cellphones next year

KOMPAS.com – Market smartphone folding is still difficult to guess. Apart from being new, the official price is also only affordable for certain groups.

However, this is not terrifying Samsung to continue to introduce smartphone new fold. The South Korean vendor is said to have prepared five folding cellphone which will be released for next year.

The news came from media reports from South Korea, The Elec. According to sources closest to the industry, two of them are successors to Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold. Then there are three types smartphone new folds to be added.

It is not yet known which series are being prepared. But the odds are Galaxy Z Fold 3 which rumors will replace the Galaxy Note series.

Another possibility is Galaxy Z Flip 2, the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip, a foldable phone with a concept clamshell or similar to a clam shell.

Just a leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is reportedly going to be introduced in June 2021. According to growing rumors, this folding cellphone will be equipped stylus pen like the Galaxy Note, as well KompasTekno summarize from Phandroid, Monday (30/11/2020).

The screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be coated with technology ultra-thin glass (UTG) which is more resistant to scratches than the coating that covers the screen Galaxy Z Fold 2.

This phone is also said to be carrying technology under-display camera aka the camera that is embedded under the screen.

While the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip, reportedly will carry the screen with refresh rate 120 Hz. The screen frame will reportedly be thinner to maximize the visual experience.

The new Galaxy Z Flip model is alleged to be sold at a lower price than its predecessor. It is estimated that it will be pegged at a figure below US $ 1,500 or around Rp. 21.2 million.

In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is pegged at a price of Rp.1,449 US dollars, while the Galaxy Z Flip was sold at a price of 1,380 US dollars when it was launched.
