The Galaxy Book 2 Go features a 14-inch FullHD IPS display. The hinge mechanism allows you to open the top cover 180°. We note the presence of a large trackpad, as well as a webcam, the characteristics of which have not been announced. The novelty is made in a case 15.5 mm thick, and its weight is 1.44 kg.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 chip with eight Kryo cores. The platform offers 40% more CPU performance and 35% more GPU power than the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 predecessor used in the original Galaxy Book Go. The new processor also provides support for a number of other features, including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

The configuration is completed by LPDDR4X-3200 RAM and NVMe SSD. Note that the Snapdragon 7c + Gen 3 chip supports fifth generation (5G) communication networks, but this feature is not implemented in the Galaxy Book 2 Go. Samsung will likely release a 5G version of the laptop later this year.

At this stage, Samsung has not announced in which configurations the new laptop will be available and at what price it will be available. The manufacturer intends to start selling the device in France on January 20. The timing of the Galaxy Book 2 Go’s appearance in other countries is still unknown.
