Samsung Introduces Ballie: A Revolutionary AI Robot with New Functions at CES 2024 Event

IBUWARUNG — Samsung is one of the world’s technology companies, which will officially participate in the CES 2024 event which will be held in January 2024.

The South Korean technology giant introduced Ballie, a ball-shaped robot that was introduced with the updates it brought.

Ballie is a robot shaped like a bowling ball and also has the same size. This yellow robot can run on a battery that lasts two to three hours.

Ballie has a spatial lidar sensor, which functions to help him navigate everything around him.

Then, the robot has a 1080p projector with two lenses, which allows Ballie to show videos and films.

Not only that, this robot can also receive commands from voice or via text messages connected to it smartphone.

In fact, Ballie was introduced by Samsung in 2020. However, the robot was reintroduced at CES 2024, presenting a number of new features in it.

“Samsung has also made significant improvements to Ballie, a rolling AI robot that was first introduced at CES 2020,” said the technology company in its official statement on Tuesday (9/1/2024).

The ball robot is now receiving the latest update, where Ballie has become an Artificial Intelligence (AI) companion.

It is capable of interacting with any number of devices, esp smartphone, to provide services that can becustom.

Not only that, Ballie can also be asked to show important information from daily life, one of which is content from social media.
