Samsung has kept its word – ads have disappeared from its applications

Samsung continues its recently announced changes. The brand removes annoying ads from its proprietary applications that took away the pleasure of using them. When will they disappear from Poles’ smartphones?

Samsung finally says STOP!

Already in August this year, Samsung boasted about making a very important decision. The Korean manufacturer has decided to remove ads from its applications, such as Samsung Weather, Samsung Pay czy Samsung Health.

The decision was made by the brand not only because of the dissatisfaction of users, but even of the employees of the Korean concern themselves! Advertising on our smartphones is unfortunately an everyday reality that we had to get used to. Samsung’s bow towards the user, however, gives hope for changes in this field.

We value our users’ feedback and continue our commitment to give them the best possible experience with our Galaxy products and services.

In August, the brand also announced that the update recalling the ads will be available to users before the end of 2021.

Samsung keeps his word – in the Samsung Pay and Samsung Health applications in South Korea, users have recently displayed messages that all banner ads will disappear from October 1st. And so it happened.

At the moment, the change mostly affects users in Korea (though some Americans have also noticed it). This does not mean, however, that other owners of Samsung smartphones will not receive the update.

It will slowly reach all users – also in Poland. The manufacturer informs that it should take as long as possible three months – until the beginning of 2022.
