According to market research firm FutureSource Consulting, Samsung is the world leader in the soundbar market. In a new report, dated February 28, it appears that Samsung has been leading the soundbar market for nine years, with a market share of 20.2%, and 18.4% of sales volume in 2022.
Samsung soundbars, including the top-of-the-line Q-series, are professional-grade, precision-tuned products. They produce a powerful and enveloping sound, and are perfectly compatible with Samsung televisions. Features like SpaceFit Sound, which calibrates sound to the acoustic properties of each space, are popular with customers and reviewers alike.
The HW-Q990B, for example, won the 2022 “Best in Class” Award hosted by AVForums, and Newsweek says the HW-S800B “impress with the ample sound it produces” despite its compact design.
This year, Samsung is taking its lineup to the next level, with immersive cinema sound and premium audio features for home theater consumers.
The 11.1.4-channel HW-Q990C soundbar with Dolby Atmos is the flagship of the Q series. It features Q-Symphony functionality, which syncs perfectly with all TV speakers, for even more intense. It also includes SpaceFit Sound Pro, which allows you to calibrate the sound according to the acoustic properties of each space, and Game Mode Pro, which optimizes the sounds according to the type of game, for more realism.
“We want to provide our customers with a premium home theater experience that matches their ever-changing needs,” said Cheolgi Kim, EVP of Visual Display Business at Samsung. “Samsung Soundbars pair perfectly with Samsung TVs for the ultimate cinema sound, enhanced with smart audio features and optimized connectivity.”
According to Futuresource, the global soundbar market has seen continuous growth of around 5.7% over the past three years, with 23.16 million units sold in 2022, and an expected total of 26 million in 2025.
