The changes to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 are quite significant from its predecessor.
Samsung changed its hinge construction which is flatter compared to the Z Fold 4.
The weight of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is 10 grams lighter than the Z Fold 4, which is only 253 grams.
On the Z Fold 4, it weighs 263 grams.
What’s very interesting is that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 already uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset for Galaxy.
Review of the specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 5
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 appears with a dual screen, consisting of a main (inner) screen that will be visible when the phone is opened or stretched, and an outer or secondary screen that is visible when the phone is folded.
The main screen is a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel, QXGA Plus resolution (2,716×1,812 pixels). This screen is also supported by a pixel density of 374 PPI, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness level of 1,750 nits.
Meanwhile, the front screen (outside) measures 6.2 inches, equipped with the same panel as the main screen. The resolution offered is HD Plus (2,315 x 904 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a screen density level of 402 PPI.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is powered by a special chipset from Qualcomm for Samsung, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, the same as the chipset in the Galaxy S23 Series.
