Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5: Key Specifications and Innovations, Launching Soon with Galaxy Z Fold 5 – Leaked Specs and Features

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 predicted to launch next month together Galaxy Z Fold 5. Ahead of its launch, the key specifications of this folding screen phone were revealed.

Leaked specifications for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 were revealed by leaker Yogesh Brar via his tweet on Twitter. It seems that not much has changed from the Galaxy Z Flip 5, except for the processor and the size of the external screen.

According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a main screen measuring 6.7 inches with FHD + resolution. The screen uses an AMOLED panel and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

Meanwhile, the second screen has a larger size, which is 3.4 inches, according to rumors that have been circulating before. This second screen will use an AMOLED panel with HD resolution.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 It will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 8GB of RAM. The storage variants offered are 128GB and 256GB. The battery capacity is 3,700 mAh with 25W fast charging, still the same as its predecessor.

Likewise with the rear camera which consists of a 12 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultrawide camera. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will run Android 13 wrapped in One UI 5.1, as quoted from Android Authority, Sunday (11/6/2023).

Not only that, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are also predicted to bring new innovations that have never existed in Samsung’s folding screen phones before, namely IP58 certification which makes the phone’s body resistant to water and dust.

If these rumors are true, then Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a tougher body than its predecessor because it is Samsung’s first dust-resistant foldable phone. As is known, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 offer IPX8 which makes them water resistant.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait long for the official specifications and prices for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Both will certainly debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event at the end of July 2023.
