Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Specs, Features, and Hands-On Review at Galaxy Unpacked 2024

Liputan6.com, San Jose – The Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the Android cellphone models that Samsung launched at their annual event, namely Galaxy Unpacked 2024 in San Jose, CA, on January 17 local time.

Together with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung also released two other Android cellphone variants, namely the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus.

Tim Tekno Liputan6.com also had the opportunity to personally attend the launch of the Galaxy S24 trio at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event, in San Jose.

So what is Samsung’s new cellphone like? In terms of design, this Korean company has not made any major changes to the shape of the Galaxy S24 Ultra from the previous generation.

Samsung has only changed how the Galaxy S24 Ultra screen returns to a flat appearance, rather than continuing the curved design in several previous generations of the Galaxy S Ultra.

The company also still uses a 6.8 inch QHD+ screen, Dynamic AMOLED 2x Display, and refresh rate 1-120Hz. However, Samsung has increased the protection on the screen of the Galaxy S24 Ultra series.

Previously, the Galaxy S23 Ultra used Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Meanwhile, on the latest cellphone, the company equipped it with Gorilla Glass Amor.

With this protection, the screen on the Samsung S24 Ultra is more resistant to scratches and eliminates reflections 17x better than the previous generation.

Interestingly, the size and weight of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is actually not that different from the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with dimensions of 6.39 x 3.11 x 0.34 inches and weighs 232 grams.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 Ultra measures 6.43 x 3.07 x 0.35 inches and weighs 234 grams. Yes, the difference between the two phones is not that different.

However, after holding the two phones directly for a week, we felt a slight difference. The body of the Galaxy S24 Ultra feels lighter and more comfortable to hold.

In fact, the weight and shape of the two phones are not too far apart. In terms of camera, this Samsung cellphone still has the same layout.
